A lot of new homes could be coming to Wynyard Park
Plans have been submitted to Stockton Council for the development of 245 new homes at Wynyard Park, promising to boost the local economy and further strengthen Wynyard’s growing community.
Wynyard Park Ltd and Stonebridge Homes Ltd have outlined proposals for a range of three to five-bedroom homes to be built on a 14.9-hectare site off Bloomfield Drive. This area forms part of a larger allocation under the council’s Local Plan, which supports around 1,100 new homes to meet rising housing needs.
The proposed homes will join existing developments by Story Homes and Avant Homes, helping to create a well-connected, thriving neighbourhood. The plan includes 122 accessible and adaptable homes, along with 20 specifically designed for wheelchair users, showcasing a thoughtful approach to inclusivity.
